Art Direction. Creative Strategy. Human Connection.

Hi, I’m Elise!

I am a Designer and Creative Leader with a decade of experience building brands that move people. From conceptualizing large-scale campaigns to directing shoots in the field, I specialize in the intersection of strategic storytelling and visual identity. My approach to design is much like my approach to life as a 100-mile ultrarunner: I have the endurance for the long game and the discipline to execute every detail under pressure.

Currently, I serve as the Creative Services Manager for Visit Aurora, a non-profit organization contracted to drive the travel and tourism economy in Aurora, Colorado. I lead the organization’s visual identity and oversee all creative output, managing an internal design team and a robust network of external partners—including creative agencies, photographers, and videographers. My role is to ensure that every brand touchpoint is both emotionally resonant and commercially effective.

As a Grand Valley State University honors grad and a Destinations International “30 Under 30” honoree, I’ve spent the last 10 years bringing complex creative visions to life. But for me, "community" isn’t just a marketing buzzword; it’s a lifestyle. Whether I’m snowboarding, skiing, or leading my Denver-based women’s run club (CRC Denver!), I am dedicated to fostering spaces where people feel empowered to push their limits.

Building a brand is about more than just great design. It’s about resilience, grit, and the relentless pursuit of what’s possible. I don’t just design for the outdoor community; I live for it.
